Don't point your finger at anyone unless you are standing in front of a mirror.

Sometimes the poor person who has sinned and failed the Lord; you know, the one the whole church is gossipping about, is crying out to God, broken in repentance and they just need to be loved and told how to live for God and have victory; by faith in the finished work of Christ........

Some of the people you have judged and written off, are closer than ever before to accepting Christ. Something to think about.

I really believe that satan is working overtime trying to discourage the saints in the days we live in. Alot of times it is through those we never dreamed would take a position against us. We really need the sweet presence of Jesus in those times to overwhelm our own sense of need and trust Him to come to our rescue.

What do you get when you mix ego with a decietful, desperately wicked heart? Answer: Religious people attempting through works based righteousness, creating religious fads, to do the job of the Holy Spirit in sanctification.

the outward results of Sanctification is victory over sin and obedience to the Lord. Those things do not sanctify but ARE the RESULTS of being sanctified. Too many have the attitude that they are what they are and that ok. Not true. The Holy Spirit WILL conform the believer into the image of Christ. by Angie Paxton

People are in bondage to activities, programs, & committees. Lets preach the Cross and Set them free.

The Cross, The Word, The Blood, The Holy Spirit; IS ENOUGH... Nothing man has can improve upon what Christ has done.......

There is a huge difference between being Childlike and being childish.

There is a difference between speaking up loudly for the truth and shouting down all who disagree with you.

The Holy Spirit produces the "want to" in us as it pertains to the things of God. If that "want to" is missing then we need to repent of sin and place our faith in Christ crucified.

Some say " we need the prosperity to reach people for Christ" I agree. It takes money to run a ministry. BUT, what we don't need are preachers who drive Rolls Royce and stay in $10,000 a night hotels while 2/3 of the world starves to death. If you raise it for the Gospel; use it for the Gospel. more in comments below.

Blessings of God are vastly different than the greed and manipulation, out right lies used; pasted over with a scripture verse to get money for personal gain. There is a huge difference between the Mt. of blessing and Babylon.

It is a huge leap from the "blessings" of God to one evangelist that paid $10,000 PER NIGHT to stay in a palace hotel.. Give me a massive break. The 2 things are about as related as a chipmunk to an airplane. This has nothing to do at all with the blessings of God. Lets stop confusing that issue.

When we work the works birthed in us by the Holy Spirit; that is not law.....

2 Cor 6:4-7 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings by pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost,by love unfeigned,By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

A true watchman is not a rebel rouser. They rebuke from a broken heart. Broken for the millions led astray by greed induced messages. Broken for the lack of true power of God in the church because of an unholy mixture of the sacred and the profane.

Like the Woman at the well, I am desperate for a drink of Living Water to slake my thirst in this barren wilderness... I cry with her; Come see a Man who knows all about me and YET, went to Calvary for me.... O how my heart is overwhelmed by this great Love.....

D.L. Moody once said, "Without the soul Divinely quickened and inspired, the observances of the grandest ritualism are as worthless as the motions of a galvanized corpse."

A huge part of the message of the Cross is the Holy Spirit conforming the believer into the image of Christ. The Holy Spirit will bring our "condition" up to our "position" in Christ.

Persecution will arise and come to you when you preach Christ and Him crucified. The reaction you get when you are obnoxious, abrasive, conceited, and nitpicky can't be called persecution.

“Ignorant on Purpose”

Many will not come to God on purpose.

Romans 10:3(King James Version)
3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Romans 10:3(Holman Christian Standard Bible)
3 Because they disregarded the righteousness from God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to God's righteousness.

It is hard to persuade men to believe what they are not willing to find true. They do not know because they do not care to know.

They were ignorant on purpose. They expected to be justified by their own works, as if thy could satisfy God’s justice.

They went around to establish their own righteousness - a righteousness of their own working out, by the merit of their works, they thought they needed not to beholden to the merit of Christ.

They would not submit to God’s righteousness. In true faith, there is need of a great deal of submission. Unbelief is a non-submission to the righteousness of God.

They have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God on purpose. They went about to establish their own way to right standing with God. They tried to establish their own righteousness.

Many attempt to establish righteousness by other methods than faith in Christ & the Cross.

Many who have come to God will try to stay justified & sanctified by self effort.

Galatians 3:3(King James Version)

3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
(Are they foolish on purpose?)

Galatians 3:3(New Century Version)
3 You began your life in Christ by the Spirit. Now are you trying to make it complete by your own power? That is foolish.

Matthew Henry: And thus they had begun well; but now they were turning to the law, and expected to be advanced to higher degrees of perfection by adding the observance of it to faith in Christ, in order to their justification,...

Do you think by self effort you can achieve righteousness or sanctification? You started by faith, do you think you can work your way to God or come to maturity?

People want to go their own way. They do not want to submit unto God and His righteousness.

Many are on purpose being ignorant of God’s way. They judge their own rigtheousness by the world’s standard. They judge their right way of living by the world. But the standard is the word of God. The only way one can be righteous is by Christ and Him crucified.

But people will not come to this truth on purpose.

John 3:19-20(King James Version)
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

They do not want their deeds exposed. Their deeds are so full of self effort that if they admit to the truth, they will be condemned. This goes for the saved and the unsaved.

Are you trying to come to God by your self effort? Are you trying to make yourself perfect by your self effort?

You can not add anything to faith in Christ. You must walk daily with your faith placed in what Jesus did, not in what you are doing.

Do not be ignorant on purpose!!!!

WARNING to THE "APOSTLES" -by Andrew Strom.

WARNING to THE "APOSTLES"

An Open Letter to Peter Wagner, Dutch Sheets & Other "Apostles".

I recently received a report of a new "Apostolic Network" headed
up by Dutch Sheets which held a gathering in Florida last week to
"carve up" territories for it's 'apostles', etc. I need to put in writing
what I believe the Lord would say to these men.

But first I need to remind us all of something. On June 23rd, 2008,
a group of "apostles and prophets" under Peter Wagner's headship
stood on a stage in Lakeland at the Todd Bentley revival - to lay
on hands and commission him, etc. But it was far more than that.
Peter Wagner called it an "apostolic alignment." He made the
following statement before all the TV cameras and all the people:

"I take the apostolic authority that God has given me and I decree
to Todd Bentley:
-Your power will increase.
-Your authority will increase.
-Your favor will increase.
-Your influence will increase.
-Your revelation will increase.
I also decree that:
-A new supernatural strength will flow through this ministry.
-A new life force will penetrate this move of God..."

Onlookers might have thought that Wagner was 'prophesying' the
above statements. But actually what he felt he was doing was
"decreeing" these things over Todd - since he was the 'head
apostle'. In a letter the following day, Wagner called this a
"groundbreaking event" and stated that, "We are now in a place
in what I see as the Second Apostolic Age..." (In other words,
a "new era" of real apostles).

So how did that work out for you, Peter? Well, literally within
weeks we found out that many of the "miracles" at Lakeland had
no foundation, and then Todd Bentley's wife separated from him
apparently over an affair he was having - and the entire 'revival' fell
to pieces in the worst way possible. That's how it worked out.

All the big Charismatic leaders that had stood on that stage hardly
knew what to do with themselves - they were so embarrassed.
And none more so than Peter Wagner - after making an "Apostolic
decree" like that. -Probably the most colossal disaster of his life.

So who pulled the rug out from under your "apostolic alignment",
Peter? I need to tell you that there are two responsible parties.
One is 'yourself' - clearly. And the second is GOD - because He
is now pitted against you and your so-called "apostles". He is the
one who did this to you.

You and your friends have presumed to an office and a place over
the Body that is simply not yours, and God is in the process of
taking you 'apostles' down - and all your "networks" with you.

Dutch Sheets - can I ask you please, what gives you the right to
carve up the Body of Christ in North America and parcel it out like
McDonalds franchises to all your buddies so they can be 'apostles'
over their own "territory"? Do you have any idea what you are
playing with? Don't you know that if your buddies are not real New
Testament Apostles then all they are doing is painting huge
targets on themselves and begging for the judgment of God?
How dare you treat the Body of Christ like a piece of Real Estate
that you can carve up for your own aggrandizement?

Because of men like you, God is about to judge the leadership
of the church. Do they call themselves an "apostle"? Well, God
is going to put them to the test. If they are not the real thing, they
make themselves His 'enemy' because they are blocking His
real Reformation. Every self-proclaimed "apostle and prophet" is
about to be put to the test. Oh, you call your group an "Apostolic
Council of Elders" or something similar? Expect God to come
calling, and if you are not the real thing, expect Him to take you
down. The Lord God is coming to take back His church with great
violence. And you guys are standing directly in His way.

I've heard that one of these big "apostles" in Canada once told his
network that their "apostle-ness" would be judged by the 'noses
and nickels' that they represented. (In other words, their "numbers"
and their reaping of money). Hmmmm. If I didn't know better, I
would call those the words of a hireling and a wolf.

As Lee Grady wrote about this 'Apostle-Mania':
"In some circles apostles demanded total allegiance from the
leaders who were "under" them. Some required a policy of "tithing
up," creating a monstrous organizational structure similar to a
spiritual Amway. So-called apostles with huge "downlines" made
exorbitant amounts of money. One leader even offered pastors the
opportunity to become "spiritual sons" by contributing $1,000 a
month to his ministry."

And yet here is what the TRUE apostle Paul wrote: "I think that
God has set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to
death... we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are
buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace... we are made as the
filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things..." (1 Cor 4:9-13).

Now THAT is true apostleship. Tell me, Mr. Modern Apostle, do
you match up to the New Testament apostles? If not, what on
earth do you think God is going to do to you if you claim that title falsely?

I believe that many true Apostles, when they do arise, will simply
REFUSE to carry such titles in any way. They will "minimize"
themselves, not exalt themselves. That is the heart of a true leader of God.

In closing, let me again warn those who have titled themselves
"apostle" or 'prophet' in the modern church. God is coming to
"clean house" and if you are not the real deal, expect Him to start
with you. It is as simple as that. You need to repent urgently of
your utter presumption. You have been warned.

Doctrine is not a dirty word as some would try and make us believe.Sound doctrine (Truth) is what true unity is based upon. Those of us who stand for the truth of scripture are not the one's who are bringing division to the Body of Christ; rather it is those who promote cunningly devised fables that they substitute for the message of the Cross. True unity is based on the foundation of truth, not love. I can love someone who teaches false doctrine but there can be no unity or fellowship with that which is false.

"Got Rest?"

True rest does not come from having a vacation. Many times we try doing so many things to try and get rest. We take 2 weeks off, but when we get back, we need a vacation from our vacation. We try to sit quit for awhile. We try to get a massage and many other things. But after all the things we try, we are still tired.

But true rest only comes as we place our faith in what Jesus did at the Cross daily. Just as when we got saved and we trusted the message of the Cross and believed that is the only true rest!

Matthew 11:28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Heavy laden means over burden with ceremony. We want to do things to get the rest we need. We try to do things to get what we think God has for us. We work as Martha did. But it is the work for the Lord. But we need to sit at His feet and hear His voice. We need to trust Him that as we do take the time to spend with Him all the other things and work that needs to be done, He will give us strength.

You only get “burned out” when you trust yourself and you get your eyes off the one who gives you rest. You changed your focus from Jesus to what you are doing.

Matthew 11:28-29Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Learn of Me! Learn of Me! Learn of Me!

He will give you rest as you come unto Him. You shall find rest as you learn of Him continually.

May you come unto Him, but may you learn of Him, and stay there. This world has nothing to offer. All that they try to do to give a person rest has no lasting value. Taking a vacation will not work. The problems will still be there when you get back.

Jesus says,“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Find true rest today. Are you already saved and do not have rest, the answer is the same!!!!
