The Word Of God; The Bible, has many things to say about the Last Days.
From time to time, I am going to be coming on the blog with one or more
prophecies from Scripture as it regards the Last days. Many of these
prophecies will not climax until the Tribulation period but there are
many we are seeing the early stages of fulfillment right now....
1)The
Bible is clear that in the last days there will be False Bible teachers
that will bring in heresies. They will have many followers, and also
cause many to reject God's Word. One scripture that foretells this;
there are many, is 2 Peter 2:1-2.
These false prophets will be
money hungry, smooth talkers 2 Peter 2:3. A huge number of today's TV
preachers are prime examples of this. Regrettably, most of this comes
from the so called word of faith movement. It is not true Bible faith.
True Bible faith is Faith in Christ and Him Crucified. Most of today's
word of faith movement twists and perverts the scripture, uses
misleading words, in order to make merchandise of you. Also the vast
majority of the modern day prophetic movement also falls under the
category of "false teachers".
You would do well to beware of anyone
who puts experiences above the word of God. Anyone who claims visits
from female angels every other day; (any day for that matter) is being
mislead by dark forces. ( There are no female angels in the word).
The verses that they use to justify this from the book of Zech. refers to evil; not to female angels of God.
Any preacher or teacher who says that the blood does not atone, you
need to run from that preacher/teacher like you would run from a
poisonous snake; for that is really what they are.
Anyone that
denies the Cross, the Holy Spirit or the Power of God can not be
trusted in these last days. Stay away from any minister that teaches
the Jesus died spiritually doctrine for it will surely lead you into
more darkness. Put your faith exclusively in the finished work of Jesus
upon the Cross and keep your faith there.
There is so much more
that I could bring forth on this but I think you all get the point.

Our heavenly Father knows what we need even before we ask and if God will provide for the birds and flowers, He will certainly take care of us. [ Matthew 6:8,25-33] . God is saying to us:" When you come into My presence, focus your attention on fellowship with Me-- on getting to know Me. Don't let your focus be on mate...rial things. I know what your needs are. Seek Me first."
I personally believe that the church has been purposely "dumbed down" to the point it has become Theologically illiterate in order to prepare it to receive esoteric experiences and value those experiences above the Word of God.
Physical and spiritual adultery are both sin. Physical adultery; we all know what that is. Spiritual adultery is anytime a believer looks to anything for their justification, sanctification, victory, peace, etc.. other than Christ and Him Crucified.......... Rom. 7:1-4
The law can never change our hearts. While it can and most certainly does, define sin; the law is powerless to give us victory over sin or make us stop sinning. It took the substitutionary death of Christ on the Cross to both pay the penalty for sin and to break the power that sin had over man. When we identify with Him in this; we can walk in a life of perpetual victory over the sin nature as well as acts of sin.
Todays esoteric prophets (so called) who are basing their walk with God on experiences and extra biblical "revelation" rather than on the Word, the Cross, and the Blood of Jesus; are conditioning the church for the greatest deception in recorded history.
For my dollar, far to many churches have replaced Holy Living classes with "dream interpretation" classes and all other type of foolishness. Angelic visitation has sadly stolen the focus from soul winning and true preaching of the Cross of Christ.
The key to all victory for a Christian is to put their faith in what Jesus did at the Cross and then, leave it there. Do not transfer your faith to any formula, ritual, law, rule, or anything else; Keep your faith solidly anchored in the Cross of Calvary and the work that Jesus there did.
Righteousness, Justification, Sanctification, etc.. is all "In Christ Jesus". None of it is in "our own right". It must be imputed to us on the basis of our faith in the finished work of Christ upon the Cross.
One of the ways that believers are shamed into not questioning the false doctrine in the Church today is they are told "don't cause division, or touch not the Lords anointed". Listen, in 2010 do not check your brains at the door. Anything that repudiates the Cross; RUN FROM IT.
As I have said; Real Bible unity must be based on truth (The Bible) not on experiences or even on love. I can love people involved with false doctrine but there can be no unity. I am sick of the false unity message that refuses accountability to Scripture.
I have often said " I don't care what the Bible teaches, but whatever it does teach is what I want." The Bible must be my criteria and not my experiences.
The greatest revelation that some of us ever got was that " God is smarter than I am"
Unbelief rejects God's plan, God's way, namely; The Message of The Cross, and puts something else in the place of the Cross.
Most of what the church today is offering up to the Lord is the "Strange Fire" of Nadab and Abihu, which speaks of greed, lust, and false authority. Rather than Holy Fire from the Brazen Altar which speaks of sacrifice.. CALVARY...
Lets make a break from the cultural religion of America. I refuse to use Christ for my own advantage. Let us follow the Christ of Calvary and not our own home spun ideas about who He is.
I do not care if a Church has 50,000 people in it; that doesn't mean that God is there. If there is no conviction of sin; if there is no repentance; if there are no changed lives; If the message is "self" GOD IS NOT IN IT.....
The Bible is the most exciting, relavent, up to date, informative, inspirational, book ever written. It is God's Holy Word. Don't have time to read it ? One day you won't.

In so many churches today the cross is not mentioned. The blood is avoided because we don't want to offend visitors. And worship is often a canned performance that involves plenty of rhythm and orchestration but little or no substance. We can produce noise,but often there is no heart ... and certainly no tears.
It is so easy for self-proclaimed prophets to make up weird crazy doctrines and get thousands of followers, because in many churches there is a great lack of Christian discipleship based on the word of God. The focus on Jesus and his teaching and discipleship has been replaced with “feel-good teachings” that totally lacks the important teachings about repentance, sin, hell,grace and holiness.
BELIEVE GOD. Do not allow your eyes and ears to be filled with fear concerning 2010. We have a God who is able to keep us and even to promote us during hard times. Don't let your hearts be troubled. We, as the body of Jesus, have faith, hope, and love to share with a world that is suffering and hurting. Be strong and expect great things to happen.
Adversity in God's own way, can be a powerful friend and teacher. We can learn much wisdom in the trials of adverse circumstances. Were God to completly remove adversity from us; He would consign us to a fools fate.

In the books Christians buy today you will find little mention of brokenness. We are not interested in a life that might require suffering, patience, purging or the discipline of the Lord. We want our blessings ... and we want them now! So we look for the Christian brand of spiritualized self-help that is quick and painless.
the Christian can cause the sin nature to come roaring back to life in them when they commit an act of sin and then try to get victory over it by their own efforts. You will be defeated every time you do that. Keep your faith in the finished work of Christ upon the Cross and realize that, in the mind of God, you were ...crucified with Him. You were buried with Him, and you were raised to newness of life in Christ.
Fear, among many other things, is deeply rooted in our sinful nature. The Holy Spirit has to go through so many layers of our carnality. Just keep your faith in what Jesus did for you at the Cross and the Holy Spirit will bring about your sanctification and conform you into the image of Christ. Look only to Christ Cru...cified and you will have victory over fear; insecurity; and all else.

The command has gone forth from the Lord because of Calvary " LET MY PEOPLE GO".... Ex 5:1. Put your faith in the finished work of Christ upon the CROSS and KEEP it there and VICTORY shall be yours. It may take a little time; But KEEP your FAITH in the CROSS and YOU SHALL HAVE VICTORY............
The Church should not be one giant referral station. The CROSS of JESUS CHRIST is a one stop shop... EVERYTHING we need can be found at the Cross... CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED....
Preacher friends: Please stop trying to sound like Dr. Phil and start preaching like the Apostle Paul...
I believe in Justification by Faith not Justification by probation. Faith in the finished work of Christ on the Cross is the answer. Man made rules and laws add nothing to what Christ has already done.
There is an old saying that goes " eat the hay and spit out the sticks" As it pertains to the Gospel, I say NO... I am tired of this unholy mixture.. I want the TRUTH of JESUS CHRIST and HIM CRUCIFIED. I am sick and tired of mens mixtures. I am sick of go along to get along. Lets return to the CROSS.........
You can't mix the message of the Cross in with the rest of Your "stuff". Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross is exclusive. Either what He did at Calvary was enough or it wasn't; I BELIEVE IT WAS. CALVARY WAS ENOUGH to provide me with all I need.
The closest thing to a formula found in the NT: Put (Your Faith) in the finished work of Christ on (The Cross) and this will give (The Holy Spirit) the latitude to work in your life.. The Cross, Our Faith, and The Holy Spirit. New Testamant living.
If you are trusting in "good" things, even things that you should be doing, to add righteousness to yourself; You are commiting spiritual adultery. Rom 7:1-4.
Each day, we are faced with certain duties as it pertains to every day life and living. It is in these "little" , daily activities that our attitudes must bear out Christ in us, our hope of glory.
I don't care how many friends I lose: I am not just about to trade Christ and Him Crucified for a bunch of thou shalt do's. Any do's that I do will not be done to please God, for I already please Him "IN CHRIST", I do as a result of His DONE.... Any works that come must be the outworking of the Holy Spirit that resides in me.
Proper works will NEVER produce proper faith. BUT, proper faith will ALWAYS produce proper works. ( Jimmy Swaggart.)

The only group where acceptance means anything to the Christian is "The Blood Washed Church Of The Redeemed".
Why would anyone in their right mind attempt to be justified by law, which we have all broken at one time or another. YOU BETTER GET YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED AND LEAVE IT THERE.
1) Christ plus nothing = Everything 2) Christ plus Anything= Nothing
Mark 9:23-24 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
Amos 5:14-15 Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

The Psychological Way or The Way Of The Cross ?
Which will you choose. You cannot have both. They are tremendously opposed to each other. You will have to choose which worldview you will hold to.In this blog, I am not going to attempt to give you the history of modern day psychology. I am simply going to highlight some of the contrasts between these two divergent paths; The psychological way vs The Way Of The Cross. Modern day psychotherapy has its roots in atheism, evolution, and humanism. Sadly, most denominations in modern Christianity have opted for the psychological way and have cast aside the way of the Cross.
The Bible holds ALL the answers of human behavior 2Peter 1:3
Psychology also claims to hold all the answers of human behavior.
The Bible tells us that man is an eternal soul St John 3:16
Psychology has as its foundation, evolution.
The Bible says that man is a sinner Romans 3:23
Psychology says that man is a victim.
The Bible says that the problem of man is an evil heart (Jer. 17:9) and that man is inherently evil.
Psychology says that the problem is man's environment and man is inherently good.
The Message of the Cross treats the very depths; the very core of man's problem, the heart. (Ez. 36:26-27, Eph 3:17, etc....)
Psychology treats only mans symptoms.
The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the answer (St. Matt. 11: 28-30)
Psychology says that therapy and "professional help" is the answer. Most psychology "professionals" will denigrate Faith and say that the minister of the Gospel is not qualified to help humanity.
The Bible tells us to deny self and crucify the flesh ( Matt. 16:24, Gal. 5:24).
Psychology says we should love "self" and pamper "flesh".
The Bible directs us to the Cross, which assures us the help of the Holy Spirit.
Psychology directs us to the flesh.
The Bible directs us to Faith in God (Mark 11:22).
Psychology directs us to self effort.
Self cannot improve upon self. Remember that.
The Word of God, The Bible, Leads us into repentance (Acts 26:20) and restoration (Gal 6:1).
Psychology offers only remorse and referral.
The Bible IS TRUTH....
Psychology is mere, mortal, flawed mans opinions.
The Bible says that God's truth is unchangeable (Psalm 119:89).
Psychology says that truth is determined by the majority and by culture.
There are many, many more contrasts that I could list for you but the bottom line is this; One simply cannot believe in the Bible and the message of the Cross; at least not as one ought, and also believe in psychology. It can't be done.
If you as a believer put your trust in anything other than Christ and Him Crucified, no matter how well intentioned, you are committing spiritual adultery. Rom 7.
Psychology puts man as the center of all things. Our Faith, from the Bible, puts Christ as the center and the ONLY answer for man. The two cannot be joined. Preachers of the Gospel who attempt to join the two will help no one. The only true help that is available is found in the word of God which is The Message Of The Cross....
